What is Thanks! I Made It!
Founded by Ashlynne Clifton, Thanks! I Made It! is a hub for creativity. Thanks! I Made It! hosts monthly in-person creative workshops where we follow our curiosity, learn new skills, and make things for the pure enjoyment of it! We believe that art is for everyone and making things with our hands is a powerful act of resistance.
Our workshops are for the creative hobby enthusiasts, the dabblers, AND for the people who may not see themselves as creative (yet!), but want to try something new! At Thanks! I Made It! we create a vibrant yet relaxed environment where it’s okay encouraged to make wonky art! Leave your perfectionism at the door and remember that everyone is a beginner at something! The joy is in the process, the end result is just a bonus.

Hi! I'm Ashlynne
I have loved making things for as long as I can remember. In childhood, crafting and creating came naturally, it was something I did every day without thinking about it. As time went on, it slowly fell to the wayside without me realizing it. Then, I became a parent and I noticed that I was deeply missing something. I needed an outlet, one that was just for me. Slowly over the next several years, I began exploring creative hobbies. It started with baking, then moved to handicrafts like embroidery and cross-stitch because the portability really appealed to me. This eventually led me to teaching myself to sew and that's really when my world burst open. I feel alive and grounded when I make things with my hands. It is literal magic. My desire is to learn as many creative skills as possible in my lifetime and share that curiosity and passion with my community both locally and online.
